Structure and curriculum are two thirds of it. The third is work — real days spent on somebody else's ground, for people who needed the help.
A brotherhood of men under Christ, held to one standard, sharpening each other for the life God calls us to.
No man becomes who God made him to be by accident. Willpower runs out, and good intentions don't survive a hard month. Iron Circle exists so that no brother carries it by himself: a circle of men who hold each other to a standard none of us could hold on our own.
These four lines are the closest thing to the answer we've found. Read them slowly. Most of us fall short of at least one of them.
Not waiting, not hiding, not hoping it resolves itself. Passivity is the first failure in Scripture — Adam stood there and said nothing. The call is to move.
Carrying what's yours, and sometimes what isn't. No excuses, no blame passed down the line. Your home, your work, your word, your walk.
Going first into the hard conversation and the unpopular decision. Courage isn't the absence of fear — it's leading anyway, when it costs you something.
Not playing for applause, comfort, or a number, but for God's reward. That's what makes it possible to do the right thing when nobody notices.
None of us have this figured out. That's rather the point of a circle — we're each further along in some of it and behind in the rest, and we need the other men to see what we can't.

The anchor. A man's walk with Christ — prayer, the Word, the church, and a life lived as worship. Everything else is built on this or it's built on sand.
Becoming the husband and father before you're asked to be one — and honoring the family you have now.
Your body is a stewardship. Discipline in the flesh trains discipline in the spirit.
Everything you have is entrusted, not owned. Earning, budgeting, investing, and giving — handled like it's God's money, because it is.
Building something. Work, enterprise, and craft done as unto the Lord.
